Joe Martin was involved in music from the age of 6 when his parents strapped an accordion on him and then 2 years later took up the saxaphone and piano. He used the piano to compose scores and excelled with the sax and earned himself a music scholarship to a college in the northeast noted for their excellent music department and achieved first chair as a freshman. At the age of 14, Joe started entertaining professionally in rock bands, lead singing and using his sax during solos at clubs and lounges and in his late 20s started fronting weddings for different agencies and eventually his own wedding orchestra for many years, all the while hearing people comment that he sounded like Tom Jones, so in time with the advent of background tracks and learning some of Tom’s signature moves, Joe started doing Tom Jones tribute shows very successfully and the rest is history.
